Where are your documents stored?

The documents below are stored only inside this browser, on this device (in its “local storage”). FastInvoicePDF has no accounts and no database, so your invoices, quotes and receipts are never uploaded to our servers and we cannot see or recover them.

What that means for you

  • Fully private — only someone using this browser profile can see them.
  • Works offline and needs no signup.
  • Free, with no limit on how many you keep (up to the browser’s space).

Risks — read this

  • They can be lost. Clearing cookies/site data, “clean-up” tools, reinstalling the browser or a full disk can erase them.
  • Private/incognito windows forget everything when closed.
  • No sync. Another browser, profile or device starts empty.
  • Shared computer? Anyone using this browser profile can open these documents, with your clients’ names and addresses.
  • Browsers limit storage (about 5 MB), so saving can fail if it fills up.

Protect yourself: download the PDF of every document you send — the PDF is your real record. Then export a backup of everything from My data → Backup & restore now and then, and keep the file somewhere safe. You can import it later on this or another device to bring these documents back.
